The Plumb Library hosts two book discussion groups each month. Books are provided by the library, or often can be downloaded from Overdrive. Large print and audio users are accommodated.

“Just the Facts” Nonfiction Book Group
meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Reads and discusses all manner of nonfiction books: travel, history, biography, current events, etc.

Cafe Parlez Book Discussion Group

meets on the last Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. We read and discuss fiction of all kinds, usually based around a theme. The theme for 2020 is: “Books About Books for People Who Like Books”.

Plumb Library also facilitates the Rochester Council on Aging’s book group. They meet the third Tuesday of each month at 10:15 a.m. at the Rochester COA on Dexter Lane. For their schedule, call the COA at 508-763-8723 or check their COA 2020 Book Group schedule.
