Programs generously sponsored by the Friends of the Plumb Library.

School year programs:
Preschool and Toddler Storytimes run during Fall (Oct. - Dec.), Winter (Jan. - February), and Spring (March - April). Each program runs for about 8 weeks.
Plumb Pie Storytime is our Preschool program for children ages 3-5, which takes place on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
Book-a-roos for Twos is for two and three-yearolds and their parents or caregivers, and is held on Fridays at 10:30 p.m.
Plumb Library story times consist of interactive book read-alouds, fingerplays, action rhymes, songs, simple crafts, and a small snack.
Registration is REQUIRED. These are NOT drop-in programs!

Preference is given to Rochester residents. All non-residents will be put on a
waiting list, and will be called if space is available.

Summer Programs:
Summer Reading Program: For kids ages 3-10. For 2010, the theme is Go Green @ Your Library. For more information, visit www.readsinma.org/rochester.
Jammy Jamboree for ages 2-6: no registration is required. Pajamas and slippers are welcome! The 2010 program will take place on Mondays from 6:30 to about 7:30 p.m., starting in late June. This program consists of relaxing but interactive stories with fingerplays, action rhymes, songs, and a simple art activity.
Library Cards! Any child can get a library card! (Parents need to fill out the application for children under age 13.) Kids love having their own library card, and finding books for themselves. Have your own Storytimes at home! Books on CD/tape, DVDs, and videos are all available with a valid library card. Come in to fill out an application, or click HERE.
Tumblebooks! TumbleBooks is an online collection of animated, talking books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love! Checkout the SAILS library network subscription to Tumblebooks via the Plumb Library homepage, via the link http://www.tumblebooks.com/library/asp/home_tumblebooks.asp.
