Solar Eclipse program for ages 5 and up

Get ready for the August 21st Solar Eclipse by joining us at the library on August 14 from 6:00-7:30 PM for a presentation by Roger Menard of the Astronomical Society of Southern New England (ASSNE). Roger will tell all about Solar Eclipses including how our ancestors viewed them, why an eclipse is an awesome event, and how to safely view and photograph an eclipse.  Roger will also provide info on what the eclipse will look like here, and tools to help with viewing.   He will talk about our telescope as well!
ATTEND this event and recieve a free pair of Eclipse Glasses provided to Plumb by StarNET/Space Science Institute.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  Best for ages 5 and up.
